Fayetteville Technical Community College
Community Colleges are an essential part of the educational establishment and North Carolina is well served by Fayetteville Technical Community College. The curriculum includes 123 Associate Degrees, Diplomas and Certificate programs. Students can enroll for academic, technical or vocational courses. On applying, potential candidates go through an entry assessment procedure that includes school records.
Some students prefer remote learning, particularly if they have to fit studies round their employment or family commitments. Fayetteville Technical Community College offers a Distance Learning route. Courses are taught via the Internet, television programs and by cassette recordings. The college also provides a curriculum for military personnel at Fort Bragg.

Students can also take an Associate Degree for Associate in Arts.
The Continuing Education Division at the college, oversees a non-credit curriculum for students aged 18 and over. These courses are varied and include a program to improve literacy. More advanced courses in technology subjects are also on offer. The campus facilities at Spring Lake are modern and provide a pleasant environment for students and staff. The Fayetteville Technical Community College campus has many classrooms, laboratories and a Conference Room. There is also an Information Technology classroom and a Lecture Hall. It’s not all work and no play at the college. Students enjoy working out at the campus Fitness Center. Courses need textbooks of course and the campus bookstore is the convenient place to buy them.
The college provides pastoral care to its students and there is a counseling service. Candidates can seek advice on financial aid, when applying. In addition to the excellent facilities and courses available, students enjoy living in the town of Fayetteville. It is a pleasant town in which to live and has several museums and green spaces. Sports lovers have a variety of teams to support in football, baseball and hockey. There is also women’s football and college basketball and college golf. Fayetteville State University also adds to the cultural and sporting life of the area.
